Victoria Whittam
Victoria has been teaching piano for over 19 years. Her students often start from a very young age, and she has taken many total beginners all the way to diploma standard.
She sits her students for RIAM, ABRSM and written theory exams. The students that are willing, do local competitions including the Feis Ceoil, Newpark and EPTA. She loves discovering ways of helping students reach their maximum potential and have fun while doing so.
Victoria loves accompanying students on other instruments and singers. She has worked as an accompanist for RIAM, ABRSM and RAD exams for many years.
Victoria holds a Licentiate as a performer with both Trinity College London and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She also has a post-graduate Diploma in Teaching and Performance from RIAM.
Our experience of KSM over the last ten years has been very positive. Four children, four instruments and four very different attitudes to practice, but all have been infected by Paul’s boundless enthusiasm for the pure joy of music
My daughter has been taking piano lessons in the Kilternan School of Music for 3 years. She loves her teacher and lessons. She has achieved extremely high results in her exams and loves playing in the mini concerts throughout the year.
My family will be attending KSM for their 6th year this September. I have 3 children aged between 10 and 13. It was my daughter who brought us to music through violin by attending the pre instrumental class and she just loved it.
