At Kilternan School of Music (KSM) we aim to deliver the best music education possible in a fun, friendly and enthusiastic environment. We have a fantastic team of teachers, all qualified in their field, with a passion for music and more importantly a passion for teaching. Music Classes

We teach a wide variety of instruments to students young and old, some in group settings and others in private one on one lessons
Gavin Sheridan

Having taken private lessons for a number of years with various teachers, Gavin went on to study guitar at the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) as well as obtaining a diploma in Group Music Teaching form the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Ann O’Neill

Ann has over 20 years experience teaching piano to children and adults

Clodagh Clarke

Clodagh has over 20 years experience teaching and has been with KSM since 2007

Danny Roe

Danny has taught large and small groups and individuals from the age of 4 to adults of all ages

Tanya Plavans

Tatiana Plavans was born in Moldova. She graduated from Minsk State Conservatory in Belarus.

Sorcha O’Regan

Sorcha has 5 years teaching experience in many genres of voice, teaching both children and adults.

Martin Meegan

Martin Meegan is a dedicated music educator and enthusiastic performer, being a proficient flautist, clarinettist and saxophonist

Mark Nutley

Mark Nutley joined the Defence Force’s in September 2015 but his musical career started long before this when at eight years old he joined the Drogheda Brass Band.

Annliesa Evans

Annaliesa is a passionate advocate of holistic music and performing arts education and has taught piano for over 15 years.

Peter Moc

Peter has been teaching many styles of guitar, composition, music theory & arranging since 2008

Victoria Whittam

Victoria has been teaching piano for over 19 years. Her students often start from a very young age, and she has taken many total beginners all the way to diploma standard

Cemal Sezer Avci
Cemal holds a Degree of Music from Adnan Menderes University where he studied both piano and music teaching.
Emily Kelly

Emily is a piano, Irish Harp, singing and music theory teacher with performance experience from the age of 4 and 8 years of teaching experience.

Didzis Kalniņš

Didzis has over 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages from beginners up to the third level including.

Roisin Lowry

Roisin Lowry is a music teacher, performer, composer and arranger, with experience in piano, violin and vocals.

Aditya Mukherji

Adi is a classical trained musician from India, having completed his Masters in Classical String Performance from the University of Limerick under Kathrine Hunka from 2018-2020.

Oisin Cavanagh

I’m a drummer studying music in college and a session musician for a number of bands. I have been teaching drums privately for a number of years and am extremely passionate about music.

Frieda Freytag

Frieda Freytag is originally from Germany and has been playing the cello for over 25 years.

Jude McCann

Jude is a final year Bachelor of Music student specialising in piano performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire.  He has been a student of Dr David Mooney, Head of Keyboard Studies since the age of twelve.

Aisling Roberts 

Aisling has been teaching for over 10 years and enjoys teaching a variety of different styles. She received a scholarship to study classical guitar in the Royal Irish Academy under Redmond O’Toole
